UBCF Set to Deliver Thousands of Pink Bags Brimming with Love to Breast Cancer Warriors Across the Nation
HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y., Sept. 19, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- (UBCF) is delighted to join forces once again with retail group for the third consecutive year to host a series of impactful Pink Bag Events in October. Hosted across 30 Brookfield Properties' retail locations nationwide, these events will distribute thoughtfully curated Pink Bags filled with comforting items to breast cancer patients and survivors, bringing joy and support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
UBCF expects to support approximately 4,500 patients and survivors with essential and helpful, high-quality items, valued at over $2.5 million. The Pink Bags, packed with love and care, include a variety of comforting items such as beautiful cosmetics, makeup brushes, cozy socks, and accessories, as well as practical kitchen essentials. These gifts offer hope and a special touch to thousands of patients and survivors, who often face financial strains and emotional challenges.

With one in eight women facing a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and men also at risk, the emotional and financial toll can be significant. That's why early detection is crucial. The good news is, according to ACS, breast cancer has a 99% 5-year survival rate for localized cases.
