The School of Ballet Arizona is excited to welcome ballet students from Arizona and beyond to elevate their ballet training with its annual Summer Intensive program, which will run from June 9 to July 11. PHOENIX, Jan. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- is excited to welcome ballet students from Arizona and beyond to elevate their ballet training with its annual . This five-week program offers intensive classes and insights from esteemed faculty with a variety of dance experience.
For students ages 11 to 21, The School of Ballet Arizona's Upper Division program within its Summer Intensive offers intermediate and advanced training experience, which will run from June 9 to July 11, 2025. Interested students may audition virtually with a recorded video submission or attend in-person at one of the audition events throughout the country. The Summer Intensive provides dedicated ballet students with top-tier classical training, complemented by a broad range of dance styles essential for success in today's diverse dance world. This intensive spans five weeks of rigorous instruction and welcomes students ages 11 and up. Under the guidance of internationally acclaimed faculty, including members from prestigious companies, students will make significant progress in both technique and artistry.

Classes are held five days a week and cover a comprehensive curriculum, including ballet technique, pointe, men's technique, variations, repertory, Pilates, flamenco, jazz, modern, Horton, strength and conditioning, and dancer wellness. The program offers a well-rounded approach to developing the versatile skills required for today's professional dancers. Housing is also available for students 13 and older. Future Ballet Arizona Studio Company members are selected from attendees of the Summer Intensive.

For the first time, The School of Ballet Arizona joins several professional ballet schools nationwide to create a unified collective. The collective is offering in-person auditions at its facilities and students who attend a will be considered by all schools in the collective for acceptance to their summer intensives. The NSIA audition at The School of Ballet Arizona will be held on Jan. 26, 2025.
The School of Ballet Arizona will also be offering a children's and lower division summer program, available for ages 4 through 12. This four-week training will run from June 9 – July 3, 2025. Audition dates for these divisions will be held on March 9, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona at The School of Ballet Arizona.
