The celebration began with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by two of Sunlit Gardens' long-standing residents, symbolizing the close-knit community that has made Sunlit Gardens a beloved home for over 2,000 residents served over these 20+ years. The event featured special recognitions from 10 local dignitaries and representatives who presented Sunlit Gardens with 12 awards and certificates, honoring its impact and dedication to high-quality senior care.
Guests enjoyed tours of the newly updated community, which now includes interior and exterior repainting, new flooring, apartment renovations, remodeled common areas, and refreshed branding that honors local heritage. Live broadcasts from KOLA 99.9's Jesse Duran in the Morning added to the festive atmosphere, bringing the excitement to listeners across the region.
