Annual Awards Recognize Greatness in Affordable Housing, Historic Rehabilitation, New Markets Tax Credit Financing and More
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Novogradac is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Awards in four categories.
The 2025 season marks the 18th consecutive year Novogradac has recognized achievement in affordable housing, community development and other tax incentive-based initiatives.
This year's award categories recognize excellence in the following categories:
- Developments of Distinction for affordable housing,
- Qualified Low-Income Community Investments (QLICIs) of the Year for use of new markets tax credit financing,
- Historic Rehabilitation, and
- The Robert E. Ibanez Award, which celebrates an individual's outstanding achievement in community development.
Each category has multiple sub-categories, with specific types of properties receiving awards. To make a nomination, go to Novogradac's and click on the appropriate category.
Awardees receive national recognition, including coverage in the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits and presentation of an award at a 2025 Novogradac conference.
Novogradac will present the Robert E. Ibanez and QLICI awards June 5-6 at the Novogradac 2025 Spring New Markets Tax Credit Conference at the Fairmont in Washington, D.C.; the Developments of Distinction Sept. 25-26 at the Novogradac 2025 Housing Tax Credit and Bonds Conference in Nashville, Tennessee; and the Historic Preservation awards Oct. 9-10 at the Novogradac 2025 Historic Tax Credit Conference at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown in Cleveland.
Winners also receive recognition on Novogradac's social media accounts as well as one complimentary registration and one discount registration for one guest to the related Novogradac conference.
