Elevated role for experienced P&C leader will drive NFP's growth in key area of the business
NEW YORK, Jan. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- NFP, an Aon company and leading property and casualty (P&C) broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager and retirement plan advisor, today introduced Patrick O'Neill as the new head of its Financial Institutions Group (FIG). He succeeds Lauren Kim, who is taking on a new role as regional managing director for P&C in the company's Northeast region. O'Neill, who previously served as a senior vice president within FIG focused on large accounts, reports to Mike Walsh, president, Commercial P&C.
"This is an exciting opportunity for Patrick that aligns well with the leadership he has shown since joining NFP eight years ago," said Walsh. "Our Financial Institutions Group has raised the bar under Lauren's leadership, and we expect Patrick to continue this momentum. Under his direction and with an outstanding team, we will see more growth while providing impactful insights and solutions to our clients as they navigate a dynamic financial landscape."
O'Neill has been an integral and strategic leader within the FIG team since joining NFP in 2016 from Everest National Insurance Company. His expertise in brokerage and client service management has delivered outstanding results across the business. He will continue to advance NFP's solutions to help financial institutions address a variety of risks while aligning capabilities and expertise within the FIG team to better serve clients and prospects.
"I'm looking forward to leading our Financial Institutions Group, building from a strong foundation and continuing to work with our exceptional team," said O'Neill. "Lauren did so much to advance FIG, and we're well positioned to continue helping clients assess the complex challenges they face and delivering expertise and solutions that help to address them."
