Author blends rhymes with educational insights to highlight dinosaurs in the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 27, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Juliana Fratia has released her debut non-fiction picture book, "Welcome to Dino Land: An Adventurous and Whimsical Bedtime Story." Inspired by her lifelong fascination with dinosaurs, which she shared with her sons, Fratia invites young readers to explore the wonders of the Mesozoic Era, filled with colorful illustrations, educational rhymes and playful storytelling.
In "Welcome to Dino Land," children are introduced to 24 of the most well-known dinosaurs, such as the Brachiosaurus and the Stegosaurus, while combining scientific facts with a rhythmic style. Designed to educate and inspire, the book encourages readers to explore the history of these pre-historic creatures while enhancing their knowledge of science, geography, literacy and creativity.
"Dinosaurs are truly majestic creatures, and they provide great scientific and geographic foundations for early learners," Fratia said. "By focusing on dinosaurs, my goal is to educate readers, as well as enhance literacy and vocabulary skills."
"Welcome to Dino Land" is the first in a planned series of children's books. Fratia is currently working on the second and third book in the series, as well as a wellness book for adults, stemming from her expertise as a nutritionist.
"I want children to feel like they are being transported back in time, on an adventurous journey, learning about what life was like in the Age of Dinosaurs," Fratia said. "Your child may want to go on this adventure over and over again."
