WASHINGTON, June 6, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The (NAELA), a professional association dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to older adults and people with disabilities, proudly announces its Board of Directors for 2024–2025.
Founded in 1987, NAELA's mission is to equip attorneys for the complexity of serving older adults and people with disabilities through education, advocacy, and community. As Americans increasingly need long-term care, many individuals and families benefit from working with an attorney who understands the unique issues facing older adults and people with disabilities. NAELA, which offers peer-to-peer learning and traditional continuing education to 4,000 attorneys nationwide, also sets a high ethical bar for its membership. The provide model ethics rules to guide attorneys working with people with disabilities such as dementia or cognitive impairment and with older adults.
