Forget flight delays—grab the Paradise Pack from Jiant Hard Tea and bring the beach to you. Easy breezy tropical flavors, a kick of yerba mate, and zero overpriced airport snacks. Look out, vacation-you is here, and they look good.
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jiant Hard Tea is shaking up the category once again with the launch of its latest innovation: The Paradise Pack. Brewed with yerba mate and bursting with real tropical fruit, this exciting new collection introduces four resort-ready flavors: Pineapple Lime, Tropical Mango, Paradise Punch, and Guava Lemonade. At 5% ABV, lightly sweetened, and crafted with 75% less sugar than typical hard teas, the Paradise Pack delivers island vibes with mainland convenience.
Each flavor in the Paradise Pack is freshly brewed for a crisp, smooth iced tea finish with just a touch of carbonation—offering the refreshment of a light beer, without the abrasive carbonation of hard seltzer. The result? Effortlessly smooth, easy-breezy, and bursting with tropical flavor.
Jiant's decision to lean into yerba mate, a naturally invigorating herbal tea, was backed by extensive consumer insights gathered in partnership with OnePulse. Research revealed a rising interest in yerba mate, driven by its clean energy boost and growing popularity in non-alcoholic beverages. Jiant saw an opportunity to push the category forward—offering current hard tea drinkers something fresh while also attracting new consumers who may not have previously considered hard tea.
"The Paradise Pack is about more than just introducing new products—it's about creating new experiences and redefining what hard tea can be," said Larry Haertel Jr., co-founder of Jiant. "By incorporating ingredients like yerba mate and introducing a wider variety of vibrant fruits and flavors, we're not just filling a gap — we're opening the door for more people to discover and enjoy hard tea. The category sees plenty of new products, but rarely anything new."
The launch of the Paradise Pack comes on the heels of a banner year for Jiant, which welcomed Chace Crawford as Chief Creative Officer, alongside former New Belgium CEO Steve Fechheimer as an investor and board member. These strategic moves reinforce Jiant's commitment to innovation and leadership in the hard tea and flavored malt beverage space.
"We're building Jiant for the long haul," said Aaron Telch, co-founder of Jiant. "Hard tea has massive potential, and we're excited to be leading the charge with bold ideas, thoughtful innovation, and an approach that prioritizes both quality and originality."
Starting this week, the Paradise Pack will debut at Whole Foods, with availability expanding to major retailers including Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Total Wine & More, HEB, and more throughout Jiant's 22-state distribution network.
