As part of its continued partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, HearingLife, a leader in delivering life-changing, personalized hearing care across 42 states, is donating $50,000 to the organization in honor of World Alzheimer's Day, which happened this past Saturday, September 21.
SOMERSET, N.J., Sept. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HearingLife's donation will help support individuals, family members, caregivers and others impacted, as well as the Association's mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Emerging evidence shows hearing loss may contribute to a person's risk of cognitive decline. Nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. By 2050, that number is projected to reach nearly 13 million.*
"With so many individuals impacted by Alzheimer's, further understanding the link between hearing loss and cognitive decline to help support research to end Alzheimer's is more important than ever," says Dr. Leslie Soiles, HearingLife Chief Audiologist. "By generating awareness for the Alzheimer's Association's cause and resources this World Alzheimer's Day, HearingLife encourages customers to take proactive steps in caring for their hearing health for both themselves and their loved ones."
With this donation, and as part of its continued partnership, HearingLife has donated over $200,000 to the Alzheimer's Association over the past two years. To learn more and to donate to end Alzheimer's, visit .
