~ $300,000 in Grants Available for Libraries Worldwide for the 10th Consecutive Year ~
IPSWICH, Mass., Feb. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Submissions are now open for the 2025 grant program from (EBSCO). For the tenth year in a row, EBSCO is accepting applications for grants that will fund solar installations at libraries around the world. As part of the 2025 EBSCO Solar initiative, EBSCO will be making a total of $300,000 in grants available.
The EBSCO Solar grant is designed to help libraries offset their expenses by adopting solar power, showcasing the benefits of sustainability within their communities. Since its inception in 2016, EBSCO has demonstrated its longstanding commitment to solar energy by awarding more than three million dollars through the EBSCO Solar grant program.
Throughout the past decade, academic, medical and corporate libraries from around the world have applied for the EBSCO Solar grant. Recipients have used the EBSCO Solar grant to offset the cost of solar panel installations, produce solar flower gardens and create entirely green infrastructures. , Mexico; , Michigan; , Illinois; , Arkansas; and The , Texas, each received an EBSCO Solar Grant in 2024.
EBSCO Solar is open to EBSCO customers only. Learn more about , including this year's timeline, submission form and a list of FAQs. Interested libraries are encouraged to submit questions by February 28, 2025. Submissions are due by April 30, and the winners will be announced in June 2025.
