Fisher Begins Principal Accelerator Program, establishes SMB Accounting and Tax Practice in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Fisher's extensive history and expertise in serving small businesses, entrepreneurs and affluent individuals in the areas of tax and accounting earned him a seat in Dark Horse's Principal Accelerator Program.

Jim earned both a bachelor's degree in both Accounting and Business Administration from Dordt College (currently known as Dordt University) along with a CPA license from the states of Iowa and South Dakota. He brings to Dark Horse two decades of experience in public accounting, primarily at regional and local accounting firms in the areas of tax compliance, advisory and resolution along with client accounting services.

At a crossroads in his career, Jim knew he wanted to join a firm that provided the platform and resourcing he needed to best serve his clients. Elaborating on this point, he explains, "I truly enjoy partnering directly with my clients in all areas of tax from resolution to strategic planning to preparation and filing.
