KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C., Dec. 2, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Renee Bingham provides much needed faith, hope and encouragement to readers in ($23.99, paperback, 9798868507175; $9.99, e-book, 9798868507182).
Renee Bingham is wife to four-time International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) world champion Gary Bingham. In 2004, God called this special couple to create God Speed Ministry. Bingham's book shares eye-opening real stories of miracles that occurred in the pits of race tracks across North America or were experienced by people who are part of their racing community. Readers will be amazed at all testimonies, whether about loved ones miraculously returning back from the dead or witnessing those with terminal illnesses that received divine healing. Equally impressive are stories about people receiving a word from God that changed the course of their lives. The author's purpose of this book is to inspire readers, strengthen faith, provide hope and encouragement, and instigate personal encounters with God to witness His supernatural power in their own lives.
When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Bingham said, "Chaplain Richard Guy, who is also an author, asked if we had considered writing a book to celebrate God Speed Ministry's 20th anniversary. It is thanks to him that this book exists. He took the various stories sitting on my computer and began to create order and cohesion which was the launch pad for the rest of this book. The stories have touched people through our newsletters. Now they can touch and inspire many others."
Renee Bingham and her husband Gary followed God to drag strips across the United States and Canada. They and their 2 daughters, also racers, took church to the dragstrips and motorsports park. While the author and her youngest daughter Lisa loved horses, Gary and their first-born child, Christy, pursued the horsepower of drag racing. Family is a primary focus for Bingham and in addition to her immediate family, that also includes their racing family. She considers drag races more like family reunions than competition. Skilled in the Compulink Timing System, Bingham worked in various control towers for forty years. She is an ordained minister and pastor of Mary's Grove Community Church, loves to teach the Bible to adults and children. She spends hours in research from many sources, fascinated about how cutting-edge science is blending spiritual knowledge of God with scripture. Gardening is also one of Bingham's passions.
