Victoria Lourdes Medina Baker grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she and her husband, Vernon, currently reside. They have three grown children and four beautiful granddaughters. She and her husband enjoy spending as much time with their family as possible, especially traveling to watch their granddaughters perform in academic and sporting events. Baker spent much of her childhood visiting their family ranch in northern New Mexico. The mountains became an important part of her life, inspiring creativity and passion to write a story of family life on a busy and active ranch. Her love of writing is where this trilogy began, and she enjoys creating characters and building storylines. In her free time, Baker loves a mix of activities including writing, dancing, bicycling and swimming. In addition to spending time at their mountain getaway and being with family, Baker is enjoying her new hobby of playing the ukulele.
