LAS VEGAS, Oct. 18, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), a global leader in Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), is proud to announce the launch of a new, customized UPRT enrichment program specifically designed for Citation Jet Pilots (CJP) Association member pilots. This program, relevant to all Citation pilots, will be unveiled at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 22-24, 2024.
"At APS, we are committed to providing Citation Jet Pilots with the most comprehensive and relevant training to enhance safety and operational effectiveness," said Paul BJ Ransbury, CEO of APS. SPECIAL NBAA-BACE 2024 PILOT EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES
APS invites all NBAA-BACE 2024 attendees to visit Booth #1665 for an exclusive opportunity to experience two immersive virtual reality training scenarios:
- CJP Scenario Experience: Engage in a CJP-specific scenario focused on executing a go-around from an approach that does not meet Safe To LandSM criteria. This virtual reality session allows pilots to understand and manage the dynamics of a nose-up pitch moment due to high thrust application, ensuring safety during critical phases of flight.
DEMO SCHEDULE AND RESERVATION DETAILS
Demos will be available at the APS booth (#1665). In addition, demos will be available on Monday, October 21 directly after the Single Pilot Safety Standdown in the Safety Education Center. Pilots interested in participating are encouraged to reserve their slots by visiting for advance reservations. A large-screen TV repeater allows observers to watch the virtual reality sessions and learn from the demonstrations facilitated by APS UPRT experts.
These virtual reality sessions provide pilots with a hands-on, interactive learning environment that reinforces the critical training elements of the CJP-specific UPRT enrichment program, enhancing safety and operational readiness.
