Young Futures, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the digital wellbeing of young people, released key findings of its first year, including the organization's steps toward reshaping the way youth navigate the complexities of a tech-driven world, with a focus on empowering teens to thrive in a digital-first society.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Highlights from 2024:
- Reached 200,000+ youth with programs to improve their overall health and wellbeing growing up in a tech-infused world.
- Distributed $2 million – $43.7 million requests received, indicating a growing need
- Helped 20 nonprofit organizations scale their reach and secure additional funding to help young people navigate the digital landscape. These nonprofit organizations were meeting the critical needs of today's young people through innovative programs designed to listen, educate, increase digital literacy and social connection, as well as improve youth agency.
- Launched the Young Futures (YF) Academy, a five-month accelerator program designed to support grantees (aka YF Innovators) in growing their impact. The academy's mentorship and hands-on guidance helped these leaders secure additional funding and scale their reach.
